Our Coffee was first served to guests of Nashville’s Maxwell Hotel in 1892. After running out of coffee, the hotel had to return to their usual brand of coffee to the dismay of their guests. The patrons loved our coffee so much, they complained to the hotel and soon Maxwell House Coffee became the only coffee served at the hotel. That’s how Maxwell House® got its name, and our coffee has been good to the last drop ever since.
